The Opportunity

The Estates and Infrastructure Services is responsible for the management and strategic oversight of the University’s property, buildings and infrastructure at all campuses and centers throughout its 12 member countries. The sections responsibilities include Strategic Asset Management, Maintenance Services, Design and Project Management Services, as well as Occupational Health, Safety, Sustainability and DISMAC Services.

The Hub Coordinator Venue Management Services plays a key role in coordinating and delivering venue management services across the University's regional network. Based at the Laucala Campus, the position oversees the University's largest and most complex venue portfolio, including the planning and coordination of venue bookings, furniture and equipment logistics, and operational support for academic, administrative, and special events.

Working collaboratively with Facilities Coordinators, Facilities Officers, Campus Management teams, and key stakeholders across the region, the Hub Coordinator ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality venue management services, promotes operational efficiency, and drives the implementation of best practices and service standards that enhance the overall campus experience for students, staff, and visitors.

The Person we Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Bachelor's degree and postgraduate qualifications in Facilities/Event Management, Logistics, or related field with minimum 4 years of relevant experience and management expertise; or
  • Bachelor's degree Facilities/Event Management, Logistics, or related field with 7 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role;
  • Strong coordination and team supervision skills;
  • Experience managing multi-site venue portfolios and logistics;
  • Strong coordination and team supervision skills;
  • Proficiency in booking systems, AV equipment, and venue logistics;
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and complex setups;
  • Familiarity with Pacific region operational contexts is desirable.

The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

Salary Range

  • FJ$61,627 to FJ$75,265 per annum
