The Opportunity
The Career Administrator & Advisor will provide support in facilitating career development programs for students at USP. This will include assisting the Career Counsellor and Service Coordinator in offering career services to students pertaining to their career development needs. He/she will also provide support in conducting career development workshops which include skills in writing job applications, building student’s e-portfolios and completing a results-orientated Curriculum Vitae (CV). The Career Administrator & Advisor assists the Career Counsellor and Service Coordinator in guiding students through the interview process and conducting mock interviews for students who have been shortlisted for vacancies.
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A degree with one (1) year of relevant work experience and knowledge of the employment market;
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral);
- A high level of computer skills;
- The ability to supervise and manage students during career presentations, career workshops and career expositions;
- Strong presentation skills; and
- The ability to maintain confidentiality at all time.

The position is available for a term of three (3) years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range
- FJ$28,440 to FJ$34,571 per annum;
