The Opportunity
The Technical Support Officer will be responsible for all onsite operation, maintenance and the configuration management of all ICT infrastructure on USP Solomon Islands campuses to deliver on the USP Teaching & Learning Plans. S/he will provide accurate and timely reports and advice on the operational status of the ICT infrastructure.
Specific Duties
The position will be a key resource for the resolution of Level 2 faults/outages regarding ICT services and will work independently or in collaboration with other IT Services staff and/or external contractors to resolve these in a timely, proficient manner.
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- An undergraduate Degree in Computing/Information Systems/Engineering and at least 2 years’ subsequent relevant experience.
- Relevant technical certification in ICT networking, server systems, software programming, new PC and Desktop technologies, OS or application technologies will be an advantage.

Salary Range
- SBD $ 129,539.40 to $139,735.23 per annum.
