The Opportunity

The University of the South Pacific (USP) is seeking a Campus Coordinator to join the Pacific TAFE, Solomon Islands Campus. Under the direction of the Director of Pacific TAFE, the Campus Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of vocational programmes offered by the College of Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET) and short courses offered by the Workforce Development Training Unit (WDTU) in Solomon Islands. The Campus Coordinator is expected to play a critical role in marketing and representing Pacific TAFE locally in industry consultations and community engagements. The position further requires resource planning, facilitator arrangements and management, keeping all programmes financially viable, and the provision of monthly reports.

 The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of ICT tools used in higher education, and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

The Person We Seek:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A degree and postgraduate qualifications in Management, Business Administration or related field; and
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience and management expertise;
  • Strong planning and organizational skills;
  • People management and business communication skills;
  • Experience in creative and innovative industry, tertiary teaching or similar experience;
  • Strong business etiquettes and professional self-presentation;
  • Multi-tasking and business acumen skills.

Remuneration

Salary Range:  SBD 185, 571.90 to SBD 231, 963.75 per annum.
