The Opportunity

The University of the South Pacific invites suitably qualified applicants for the Estates & Infrastructure Coordinator position.
The Estates & Infrastructure Coordinator is expected to provide leadership and supervision of the Estates and Infrastructure team based at Tonga Campus. The Coordinator has roles in ensuring maintenance operations (construction, plumbing, electrical, drainage), building insurance and engineering certifications, leave management, renewal of service level agreements and ensure that campus facilities are efficiently managed. The Coordinator will ensure the highest possible level in service delivery in terms of managed Estates and Infrastructure, OHS, ensuring at all times that University requirements are followed. The Coordinator is also responsible for the management of all staff within the Estates & Infrastructure department, covering grounds, security and cleaning personnel.
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A Degree in relevant discipline (Property and Facilities Management, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent) with two years of subsequent relevant experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of maintenance and/or construction industry gained through on-the-job experience and/or formal training;
- Demonstrated experience in compiling and presenting technical and other reports;
- Demonstrated experience in supervision of staff.

The position is available for a term of three years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range
- TOP$33,153 to TOP$38,843 per annum
