The Opportunity
The University of the South Pacific (USP) is looking for an inspiring and forward-thinking Manager, Strategic Support & Financial Planning to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of one of the region’s premier institutions.

As Manager, you will:
- Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to advance USP’s long-term vision.

Specific Duties
Specific duties may include:
- Partner closely with the Finance, Planning and Office of the Chief Operating Officer, providing trusted advice and leadership.
- Oversee and coordinate all financial planning systems and processes across the University.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis, scenario planning, and timely reporting to guide executive decisions.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and agility in financial advice that supports USP’s mission.
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, we want a leader who:
- Has a degree and a postgraduate qualification from a relevant discipline; and
- Six (6) years of relevant experience and proven management expertise;
- Is enthusiastic, strategic, and innovative.
- Is skilled in financial planning and analysis, with a passion for sustainability and improvement.
- Is collaborative, with the ability to influence and inspire across the University community.

The position is available for a term of three (3) years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range
- FJ$103,576 to FJ$126,750 per annum.
