The Opportunity
The University is seeking to appoint a Coordinator for Santo Centre to be responsible for the daily operations and coordination of all academic and administrative services. USP Santo Centre is located on the Northen part of Vanuatu. The Santo Centre was established to serve students in the Sanma Province which include, Santo, Malo and nearby Islands.
The coordinator will be required to attend to needs in the other provinces to the North of the Country. The position will work with the Emalus Campus Director, Managers and Part-time tutors. Attend to student and stakeholder requirements. Ensure proper management of staff and resources.
Specific Duties
Specific duties may include:
- Oversees daily program operations and acts as liaison with the University authorities, students and community stakeholders
- Ensure the proper delivery of academic programs
- Undertake the proper management of the University facilities and assets
- Manage staff performance and supervise the work of contractors
- Ensure sound management of the Centre's Financial resources
- Coordinate outreach and marketing activities
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or Postgraduate or Master's degree in a relevant discipline with two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated Human Resources Management experience and good supervisory and interpersonal skills
- Some experience in Financial management, including the preparation of budgets and monitoring of expenses and reporting.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal skills and customer services oriented.
- Strong attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills and able to achieve key objectives within broad guidelines
Preference will be given to applicants with:
- A Postgraduate or a Master of Arts or Education degree in the relevant discipline.

Salary Range
- VT2,135,109 to VT2,442,689 per annum
