The Opportunity
The appointee will be involved in the operations of the farm on all activities in the farm and also involve in identification and preparation of livestock and farm materials for Animal Science practical classes as well as their research related to Animal Science. in order for the livestock farm to sustain its operation in this vital role in support to students learning ,a technician must be assigned in the farm. He/She will also be responsible for the recording and updating of all inventories of the livestock, their products and byproducts, equipment, materials and chemicals in the farm. Also, he/she will be responsible in cleaning and organizing the farm regularly and assist farm laborer's with the daily route in the farm such as feeding animals, collecting, sorting and packaging eggs and recording them in a proper manner.
Specific Duties
He/She will also be responsible for the recording and updating of all inventories of the livestock, their products and byproducts, equipment, materials and chemicals in the farm.
Also, he/she will be responsible in cleaning and organizing the farm regularly and assist farm laborer's with the daily route in the farm such as feeding animals, collecting, sorting and packaging eggs and recording them in a proper manner.Specific duties may include:
The appointee will assist in the preparation and administration of the Farm and practical classes of the Animal Science/Agriculture students.
The appointee will also be responsible for looking after Animal Science/Agriculture Research Projects
The Person we Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Animal Science with relevant work experience in Animal Science Farm OR a Diploma in Agriculture with at least 5 years’ experience in Animal Science Farm;
- Good communication skills;
- Good Language & Computer literacies
Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with relevant work experience in Animal Science Farm.

The position is available for a term of 3 years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Salary Range
- Grade 4: ST42,283.47 to ST50,824.95 per annum
